Being a Bear
Big Bear café + espresso bar is an independent café in Dedham MA. Working closely with the owner I developed all aspects of Big Bear's branded story, from signage to furniture, promotions to mural painting, and from online and print media to interior workspace and seating area, navigating subcontractors, town boards, and inspectors. The workspace is designed for efficiency, and the customer space as an inviting and communal 'den’. We continue to tell Big Bear's story via online and offline media and promotions that use outsized proportions, light humor, and a sense of community that reflect the owner's values and goals for the business.
The result is a shared, relatable vibe that has drawn rave reviews, helping Big Bear to grow and strengthen customer loyalty.
