Inviting discovery
Branded: logo, series of social media/newsletter assets, print ads
Dedham Public Library was seeking to reassert its role in the community and wanted a logo that would be inviting to a wide range of library stakeholders. Working with the Library Director, Board of Trustees, and select employees, I presented directions steeped in narrative, whose stories could be expanded to engage a variety of audience demographics.
The clients chose the keyhole, which peers onto an idyllic scene depicting a pair of unlikely reading companions. I was also asked to develop additional pieces to support its introduction to the public and elaborate on its sylvan charm. The new look garnered high praise across a broad community spectrum.
